There are two full moons in July and the Harvest moon in August/September, however there are at least 3 moons in each month that you would be hard pressed to say it was not full.

Lighting up the evening sky, which as the moon completely removes the night, as the monster follows the moon path on the water, a romantic evening to be sure.

For star gazers or star parties, there is about a week and half of every month, in which the sky is completely free of light, making it possible to see stars from horizon to horizon. And if the water conditions are right the reflection of the stars off the water, makes it feel as if the stars are below you as well, I call it the "gliding through space" ... it is an unbelievable sensation, you don't have to be an astronaut to experience moving through the galaxy.

In July, August and September the Monster departs from the Government dock at 11:00am and if everyone is up for it will stay on the lake until 2 or 3 and sometime 4 o'clock in the morning.. depending on the conditions and entertainment.. again very memorable for all.
