Fred's Camp

There are many ways to enjoy Manitoulin Island and Lake Kagawong, on growing in popularity is the Kagawong Monster, a most memorable way.

If you are a visitor to Manitoulin, for family and friends, special occasions, or fishing

There are two basic ways to purchase and outing on the Monster.

One is to purchase a Monster pass which is $15.00 for each member of your group (minimum of 5 person)

To charter an outing for your group of 10 to 15 persons, for special occasion, fishing or boat to a particular area of Lake Kagawong on Manitoulin Island.

If you would like to arrange a particular special occasion for your group, please contact us.

If you are a visitor to Fred's Camp, all visitors who stay for a 1 week period there outing is included in all weekly rates through outing May to October.

Scheduling an outing is impossible, unless you can control Mother nature.

It is our experience that an outing is planned within 4 hours if not less to departure. However a tentative schedule can be made, but the weather and conditions on the lake and sky are the determining fact.

Example: If your group would like to schedule a star gazing night the sky can't be cloudy and the lake should be reasonably calm so everyone stays dry and warm, etc.

For more information please call Fred's Camp at (705)377-4512
